The next South Asian Games will be held from 6 to 16 February next year in Guwahati and Shillong .Talking to newsmen in Guwahati today, Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and Secretary General of Indian Olympic Association Rajib Meheta said that 4 thousands players and officials from 8 countries will take part in the event. Mr.Mehta said that 17 events will be held in Guwahati and 7 events will be played at Shillong.He said all steps are being taken to perfectly organize the mega event and also spoke to Prime Minister and Union Home Minister in this regard.
