Union Sports minister Sarbanand Sonowal has said that all efforts are being made for an all attractive closing ceremony of South Asian Games in Guwahati on Tuesday. Talking to AIR Correspondent on the sideline of a programme in Guwahati today, the Union minister appreciated the media particularly, the AIR and Doordarshan for the coverage of the mega event. Mr. Sonowal said that stress had been given on gender equality at the Games. He also thanked the Guwahatians for their full supports to make the event a great success.
