In the opening match of the Second SAFF Games in Colombo, Indian women footballers began their campaign in style, defeating Bangladesh 3-0. For the defending champions, all the three goals came in the second half. Kamala Devi, Bembem Devi and Alochana Senapati scored one goal each. India will take on Sri Lanka on the 11th. The semi-final of the 8-nation tournament will be played on the 14th and the finals on the 16th of this month.
