India and Nepal have entered the semi-finals of the ongoing SAFF Football Championship from group A, played in Kathmandu, by virtue of match points. In the last Group A match played at the Dashrath Stadium, Kathmandu, yesterday, Nepal defeated India 2-1. With this win, Nepal got seven points from three matches while India four from as many matches. In the other Group-A match played at Halchowk Stadium, Pakistan and Bangladesh drew 1-1. The semi-final line up will be decided after group B matches to be played. today. Afghanistan and Maldives have already qualified as both teams have picked six points each from the earlier two matches.
