Afghanistan have entered the summit clash of the SAFF Football Championship. In the first semi-final in Kathmandu today, they beat hosts Nepal by a solitary goal. Sanjar Ahmadi scored the all-important goal in the 10th minute of the match. Defending champions India will take on Maldives in the second semi-final tomorrow. The final will be played on Wednesday.
