Football fans in Afghanistan are eagerly waiting for the final match of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Cup tournament to be played between Afghanistan and India in Kathmandu tomorrow. In the second semi-final yesterday, India beat Maldives by 1-0 to secure a berth in the final. Afghanistan stormed into the final by defeating hosts Nepal in first semi-final by 1-0 on Sunday. Tomorrow's match is likely to be a great thriller as the Afghan team is in excellent form. Many of its players have experience of playing with the Football clubs of the European countries. Football fans in Afghanistan are hopeful that their national team will snatch the SAFF cup from the defending champion India. In view of the immense enthusiasm of the Afghan football fans, a number of private TV channels in Afghanistan have made arrangements for the live telecast of the final match along with commentary.
