<span style="color: #222222;">Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today emphatically said safety of all members of staff in banks is of great importance to all. Mrs Sitharaman was reacting to an incident in which a lady staff of a bank was assaulted in the premises by a policeman in Surat.<br />'' <br />'' In a series of tweets, Mrs Sitharaman said she had spoken with Surat Police Commissioner Mr Bhrambhatt and he will  personally visit the branch and assure the staff of their duty.<br />''<br />''The Minister informed, the Commissioner said the accused Constable shall be suspended immediately.
