<span style="color: #222222;">President Ram Nath Kovind has said that the duty of safeguarding and strengthening the Constitution is a shared enterprise among the judiciary, the executive and the legislature, in partnership with the people of India. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Kovind was addressing an event on the occasion of Constitution Day in New Delhi on Monday.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It was on this day in 1949, that the Indian Constitution was adopted which came into force on January 26, 1950, marking the beginning of a new era in the history of India.</span><br />'' <br />
