Union Sports Minister Sarbanand Sonowal has inaugurated the web portal www.southasiangames2016.com in Guwahati today as a part of the upcoming SAF games. The 12th SAF games will be held from February 6 to February 16 next year in Guwahati and Shillong. Mr. Sonowal said that Rs 95 crore have been sanctioned for successfully conduct the event. He said that the Centre along with Assam and Meghalaya government will unitedly take all steps for the smooth conduct of the event.
