Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani today announced that JuD chief Hafiz Mohd Saeed, blamed by India for masterminding the Mumbai attacks, is in custody of Pakistani authorities. But he did not make it clear whether he has been arrested. Talking to reporters, Gilani said a decision on his case will be taken on the basis of laws and evidence against him. However the Pakistan police have denied media reports that Hafiz Saeed has been detained in Lahore. Police said, his movement has been restricted due to security reasons but there is no order to either detain or arrest him.
