At the Asian Youth Boxing Championship in Bangkokg on Thursday,World youth champion Sachin Siwach was the lone Indian to enter the final. However, none of the other Indians could advance and settled for bronze medals after losing their last-four stage bouts.In the 49kg category, Sachin defeated Thailand's Panmod Thitisan to enter the final where he will face Uzbekistan's Samandar Kholmurodov on Friday. The Indians who settled for Bronze medals on Thursday were:- Ankit Kumar (60kg), Naveen Boora (69kg), Mohammed Etash Khan (56kg), Sachin (75kg) and Harshpreet – super heavyweight (+91kg). The tournament features 120 boxers from 23 countries.
