Sachin scripts history by scoring 100 ODI centuries

Sachin Tendulkar has written history by scoring a brilliant century to become the first player to score 100 international centuries. Tendulkar achieved his long awaited century in the ongoing match against Bangladesh in Asia Cup Cricket tournament being held at Dhaka. This is his 49th century in one day cricket.AIR correspondent reports, Indian cricketing great Sachin Tendulkar ended the long wait for his 100th international Century today. The Master Blaster scored his landmark 100 in 138 balls which included 10 fours and one six. With this 49th ODI Century, along with his 51 Test hundreds, Tendulkar is the only person in the history of cricket to complete a century of centuries. A teenage prodigy, Tendulkar started his test career against Pakistan when he was 16-years-old, becoming the youngest Indian test player. He was also the first batsman to score a double-hundred in ODIs. Tendulkar holds a number of batting records, including the aggregate one-day runs and centuries. He has defied age and injury at every stage of his career to finally reach where no cricketer has been before.
