Sachin Tendulkar flew back from Dubai to cast his vote in Mumbai today, on his 41st birthday.

Prior to voting Tendulkar put out a message on his Facebook page exhorting the citizens of India to go out and vote. He wrote that every run counts in the game of cricket and every vote counts in an election.

Don't underestimate the power of your vote. After casting his vote, he tweeted a selfie of himself proudly showing his inked finger and asking people if they had voted or not.
