Sachin Tendulkar, Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma are among several celebrities who will be part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pet Swachhta hi Seva campaign.<br/><br/>As prime minister's Clean India project completes three years, these celebrities have agreed to undertake shramdaan (contribution of labour) and toilet construction.<br/><br/>Besides Tendulkar, cine stars Akshay and Anushka, Nita Ambani, wife of industrialist Anil Ambani, will also lead the cleanliness campaign in Mumbai. <br/><br/>As part of the campaign, government has also telecast Toilet: Ek Prem Katha on Doordarshan.<br/><br/>Two personalities from Assam – singer Papon and actress<br/>Madhurima have also agreed to be associated with the Swachhta<br/>hi Seva campaign.<br/><br/>Global Inter-faith WASH Alliance founder Swami Chiddanand will lead a cleanliness drive along the banks of the river Ganga in Rishikesh on September 25.<br/><br/>To make 'Clean India' campaign a success, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written to opinion makers across fields, including industry, sports and cinema, seeking their support to Swachhata Hi Seva movement, saying it is the noblest service.
