A forensic report has ruled out sabotage as the cause behind the recent fire at Maharashtra Mantralaya building in Mumbai. The report released today by the Central Forensic Science Laboratory, CFSL, stated that no external combustible articles were found from samples collected from the devastated building, and hence, negated the sabotage angle.According to the laboratory officials, the report has been submitted to the Mumbai Police Crime Branch which is entrusted with the probe into the mishap. The investigating authority has so far, gone through over 100 CCTV footages installed inside the Mantralaya. Speaking to the media, Joint Police Commissioner Himanshu Roy said that Crime Branch inquiry into the fire mishap is still on.
