'Sabka Prayas' can make India developed by 2047 and everyone must strive to achieve it during 'Amrit Kaal' of 25 years: FM Sitharaman

<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Finance Nirmala Sitharaman quoted Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India a developed nation by 2047. She was speaking at the 105th Annual General Meeting of Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industries in Bengaluru on Thursday. Repeating the call given by the Prime Minister, the Finance Minister said that 'Sabka Prayas' can make India developed and everyone must strive to achieve it during the 'Amrith Kaal' of 25 years. <br />''<br />''She also reminded the gathering about the 'panch pran' advocated by the Prime Minister during his Independence day speech from the ramparts of Red Fort. Saying that the task is achievable, the minister said that India has shown its capabilities to deal with the pandemic and recover from the jolt and become the fifth largest economy. She also pointed out the Cowin software used for the vaccination which she said is considered the best in the world. She said use of technology has helped the Government to reach out beneficiaries to the poor. Imparting skills to the youth through Atal tinkering labs has empowered the youth. Emphasising on Anusandhan or research and innovation, the Finance Minister said that start ups must play a key role in value addition of millets and exports. She asked Karnataka to showcase its opportunities to the investors during the upcoming G20 summit to be held across the country. She also asked the state to take advantage of trade policy under formulation. She informed that negotiations are on with the UK, Canada and European Union for a Free Trade Agreement and India has the Free Trade Agreement with Australia and UAE.</span><br />
