External Affairs Minister S M Krishna will leave for Beijing on Monday on a four day visit of China. He will have comprehensive talks with the top Chinese leadership covering issues like issuance of stapled visas by Beijing for residents of Jammu and Kashmir. The issue of involvement of China in the illegal construction in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and the imbalance in trade are also likely to be raised. <br/><br/>Besides attending a civic reception, Mr. Krishna would formally kick off six-month-long celebrations to mark the 60th year of establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries. <br/><br/>This will be Krishna's first bilateral visit to China. Relations between the two countries had come under strain last year over a host of issues including the reported intrusion by Chinese troops along the border and its claim over Arunachal Pradesh.
