The External Affairs Minister S M Krishna today met Sri Lankan foreign minister Prof G L Peiris in Tehran on the sidelines of G-15 summit to begin tomorrow. <br/><br/>The spokesperson of External affairs ministry Mr Vishnu Prakash told reporters after the meeting that the two leaders discussed the contours and the agenda of the forthcoming visit of Sri Lankan President to India. <br/><br/>Mr Rajapaksa will be visiting India in the second week of June, his first state visit to New Delhi after re election as the Sri Lankan President.<br/><br/>During their talks External Affairs Minister SM Krishna and Lankan Foreign Minister Professor G L Peiris reviewed bilateral issues. <br/><br/>The issue of resettlement of Tamils also came up for discussion. Both sides expressed their desire to consolidate the peace process and accelerate the pace of reconstruction and rehabilitation of Tamils. <br/><br/>The External Affairs Minister SM Krishna is scheduled to meet Iranian Majlis speaker Ali Larijani this evening to discuss bilateral ties between two countries.
