The External Affairs Minister Mr. S. M. Krishna arrived in Colombo on Thursday evening on a four-day visit to Sri Lanka. He will hold bilateral talks with Sri Lankan leaders on matters of mutual interest. Mr. Krishna will participate in the joint commission meeting tomorrow along with his Sri Lankan counterpart to review the progress of bilateral projects. Later the two leaders will jointly address the media. Mr. Krishna will also meet Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Prime Minister D M Jayaratne. According to diplomatic circles the focus of the visit of Mr. Krishna would be on rehabilitation of the nearly three lakh displaced Tamil civilians during war the between the LTTE and Sri Lankan forces and a political solution for resolution of the ethnic issue.
