South Korean Defense Minister Kim Tae- Young will meet with the U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates in Washington on Friday. According to Yonap news agency, the two leaders are scheduled to meet for an annual Security Consultative Meeting to discuss bilateral alliance, current security situations and Seoul's planned takeover of wartime operational control of its troops.
