Mr.S K Tripathi will take charge of the Research and Analysis Wing from Thursday. He will head the external intelligence agency for a period of two years.A statement issued today by the Department of Personnel and Training said,the Appointments Committee of Cabinet has cleared the name of Mr. Tripathi who heads the Aviation Research Centre at present. He is a 1972 batch RAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. Mr. Tripathi will take over from K C Verma, a 1971-batch IPS officer of Jharkhand cadre.
