South Africa have thrashed Pakistan, 4-1, in the ODI series in UAE. In the final match at Sharjah last night, the Proteans beat Pakistan by 117 runs. Batting first, South Africa made 268 for the loss of seven wickets, thanks mainly to an unbeaten century by skipper, A.B. Devilliers who made 115 not out. In reply, Pakistan was bowled out for just 151 runs. Paceman Wayne Parnell was the chief wrecker who bagged three wickets for South Africa.
