India and Russia are to sign the first of a series of agreements for the development of fifth generation fighter aircraft, FGFA , to meet futuristic requirements of the Indian Air Force.<br/><br/> <br/>The agreement is to be signed during Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's visit to New Delhi beginning Thursday evening.<br/><br/> <br/>Other deals will include a contract to sell India 29 MiG fighter jets and an agreement to install additional nuclear power units in Tamil Nadu, along with final discussions on aircraft carrier Admiral Gorshkov.<br/><br/><br/>Mr Putin is coming on a working visit at the invitation of the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. He will be accompanied by an official delegation comprising senior members of the Russian Government and several business leaders.<br/><br/><br/>Mr Putin will hold talks with Prime Minister Dr.Singh on a range of issues of bilateral interest.<br/>
