India's Ambassador to Russia, P S Raghavan has said Russian companies have shown considerable interest in the Make in India initiative. In an exclusive interview to AIR ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Russia, Mr Raghavan said there are a number of discussions going on between Indian and Russian companies in sectors like defence, repair and maintenance.<br/><br/>Mr Raghavan said hydrocarbon is also a very special area of India-Russia cooperation and this has great potential. He said both countries have made a lot of progress in bilateral relationship since Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India in December last year.
