Russia has sent an additional icebreaker to free a group of ships trapped in thick ice on the Okhotsk Sea for more than a week. A spokesman for the rescue operation said, the Krasin icebreaker will assist in freeing three vessels with 400 people on board. Three other ships that stuck in the ice on December 31 have been freed, with an icebreaker helping in the operation. Officials say the people on the ships still trapped have sufficient food and water.
