<span style="color: #222222;">Russia and Turkey have today agreed to coordinate ground operations in Syria. This was announced by  Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov after talks with his Turkish counterpart. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said an understanding was reached  for military representatives of Russia and Turkey to coordinate on the ground  to  root out terrorist threats in Syria. The move comes after last week's announcement of a US military withdrawal.</span>
