Russia and Britain today stepped-up efforts to improve their strained bilateral ties, marred by differences over slew of issues, including the controversy over the poisoning of a former FSB agent in London. Both the nations are keen to improve their bilateral ties although the shadow of slain ex-Federal Security Service agent in the UK allegedly killed by the Russian FSB security service still looms large on them, foreign policy chiefs of the two historical rivals have conceded.
