In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Rural Development Department Kashmir has started 5 thousand 2 hundred and Nineteen, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA) works across the Kashmir Valley and provided much needed jobs to rural people after easing of the Lockdown, following the outbreak of Cornavirus pandemic.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">As per the Rural Development Department officials, 79 thousand 8 hundred and 78 households have been benefitted with the execution of the MGNREGA works. The works were taken-up in each district of the Valley for creating public assets generated 7 lakh 73 thousand 3 hundred and 42 person days of work.</span><br />
