Rupesh Shah has become only the fifth Indian cueist to lift the World Billiards Point Frame title twice. In the final at Leeds, he beat Australia's Matthew Bolton 6-2. Rupesh had earlier defeated big guns like Mike Russell in the quarter-final and Peter Gilchrist of Singapore in the semifinals. Meanwhile, former world champion Pankaj Advani knocked out his compatriot Dhruv Sitwala in the semifinal to enter the final of World Billiards time format event. In the final, the Indian will face defending champion Mike Russell.
