Rupee weakens by 4 paise

The Indian rupee weakened by 4 paise to 46.73 a dollar in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange today on increased demand for the US currency from importers. The rupee had ended 7 paise higher at 46.70 a dollar in the previous session. Forex dealers said demand for the dollar from importers mainly weighed on the rupee sentiment.
