At the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee weakened 37 paise, to 62.46 against the dollar, in late morning trade, as the dollar strengthened in the overseas market, after the decision of the US Federal Reserve, to cut its monthly bond purchases by 10 billion dollars, to 75 billion dollars.
