The rupee lost 21 paise to 55 rupee 15 paise against the US dollar in early trade today, snapping the three days of gaining streak . The fall was due to the American currency gaining against the euro overseas. Yesterday, the rupee had ended higher by 42 paise at 54 rupee 94 paise.It was the rupee highest closing since May 18 against the dollar on sustained FII inflows.
