At the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee gave up all its initial gains against the US dollar, on fresh dollar demand from importers, and stood 12 paise lower, at 61.25 to the US currency, in intra-day trade, today. The rupee had closed at 61.13 to the dollar in yesterday's trade.
