The rupee recovered marginally by five paise to 61 rupees 85 paise against the dollar in early trade today. The rise was attributed to increased selling of the American currency by exporters, amid sustained foreign capital inflows. The domestic currency had lost 10 paise to close at 61 rupees 90 paise in yesterday's trade.
