The rupee moved up by three paise to 54.91 against the dollar in late morning trade on Friday despite higher value of the American currency overseas.The Indian rupee moved in a narrow range of 54.86 and 54.97 per dollar before quoting 54.91 at the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) Market.In New York market, the Japanese yen fell against the US dollar on Thursday to its lowest level since late 2010 after minutes from the Bank of Japan's November meeting showed some determination to drive the nation's currency lower.
