The Indian rupee advanced by 23 paiseto 62.37 rupees against the American currency in the late morning trade on fresh selling of dollars by banks and exporters on the back of lower dollar value in the overseas market.The rupee resumed at yesterday's closing level of 62.60 rupees per dollar but firmed up immediately to 62.31 rupees per dollar before quoting at 62.37 rupees per dollar .It moved in a range of 62.31 to 62.60 rupees per dollar during the morning deals.
