The Indian rupee appreciated by 8 paise to 52 Rupees 64 paise against the dollar in early trade today. The rise was due to mild selling of dollars by banks and exporters, in view of weakness of the American currency in overseas markets.Yesterday, the domestic currency had closed 22 paise lower at 52 rupees 72 paise against the dollar.
