At the inter-bank foreign exchange market, the rupee strengthened 10 paise, to 55.55 against the dollar, in early trade, today. The rupee rose after the Reserve Bank eased norms by allowing corporates and exporters to keep their entire forex earningsin the respective foreign currency for a limited period. The dollar's weakness against other currencies overseas also supported the rupee.
