The rupee trimmed its early losses, but was still quoting lower by 8 paise to 59.65 rupees per dollar on demand of the US currency from banks and importers triggered by its higher value overseas.The rupee resumed lower at 59.74 rupees per dollar as against the last closing level of 59.57 rupees. It dropped further to a low of 59.75 rupees before quoting 59.65 rupees per dollar.
