Rupee trading up 9 paise at 61.86 against Dollar

The rupee continued to rule firm for the third consecutive day today by gaining another 9 paise to 61.86 per dollar on sustained selling of the US currency by banks and exporters in view of strong foreign capital inflows.Weakness of dollar in the overseas market also boosted the rupee value. The rupee resumed higher at 61.84 per dollar as against the last closing level of 61.95 at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market. The rupee had gained 9 paise to close at one-week high of 61.95 against the dollar yesterday
