The Indian rupee, after rising by 5 paise to 49.92 rupee against the US dollar in the opening trade appreciated by 15 paise to 49.82 against the American currency in late morning deals on fresh selling of dollars by banks and exporters in view of sustained capital inflows amid weakness in dollar overseas.The rupee had closed 13 paise lower at Rs 49.97 over its previous close against the American currency yesterday on fresh dollar demand from banks and importers.
