The rupee today appreciated by six paise to 46.75 a dollar in early trade largely in line with other firm Asian currencies. At the Forex market, the rupee appreciated by six paise, while it ended lower 8 paise in the previous session. Forex dealers said dollar's losses against other Asian currencies mainly supported the Indian rupee.
