Continuing its rally for the fourth straight day, the Indian rupee strengthened by another 5 paise to hit four-month high of 46.83 in opening trade Wednesday. The Indian rupee ended 63 paise higher at 46.89 against the US currency on heavy dollar selling on Tuesday by corporates and exporters prompted by weakness of the greenback in the overseas markets.Meanwhile, Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading higher by 1.92 per cent, while Japan's Nikkei up 1.12 per cent in early trade on Wednesday, while the US Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 1.37 per cent higher in Tuesday's trade.
