The rupee strengthened 12 paise, to a three-month closing high of 49.15 against the dollar.It closed at 49.27 rupees per US dollar in the previous session yesterday. Dealers said increased foreign capital inflows and dollar's loss against the euro in the overseas markets provided support to the rupee.
