The rupee shed some of its earlygains but was still up by 21 paise at 52.43 against the American Currency during noon trading on renewed selling of dollar by banks and exporters. During early trade today the rupee appreciated by 40 paise to 52.24 against the US dollar but lost few initial gains. The rupee had witnessed its second biggest fall of 79paise in 2012 to close at one-week low of 52.64 yesterday.
