Rupee recovered by nine paise to 61 rupees 81 paise against the US dollar in the late morning trade. This follows fresh selling of dollars by banks and exporters on expectation of more funds in view of recovery in the stock market. The domestic currency had lost 10 paise to close at 61 rupees 90 paise in yesterday's trade.A forex dealer said, banks and exporters preferred to reduce their dollar position on hopes of more capital inflows into equity market.
