The Indian rupee strengthened by 19 paise to Rs 52.68 per US dollar in early trade on the Interbank Foreign Exchange today. Earlier, Reserve Bank of India said it will take more steps to check weakness of the rupee. The rupee had closed marginally lower by 1 paisa at 52.87/88 against US dollar on Tuesday.
