Rupee marginally up against US$ at 51.93

The Indian rupee appreciated marginally by 2 paise to 51 rupees 93 paise against the US dollar in late morning trade today on mild selling of dollars by banks and exporters in view of dollar weakness overseas. In the previous session, the domestic currency rose by 30 paise to close at a one-week high of 51 rupees 95 paise against the dollar on fresh dollar-selling by exporters.
