The rupee fell by 32 paise at 63 rupees, 82 paise against the Dollar. At the Interbank Foreign Exchange market, the domestic unit commenced lower at 63 rupees, 75 paise a dollar from the overnight close of 63 rupees, 50 paise on dollar demand from importers and its firm value overseas.The rupee fell further to 64 rupees 18 paise before recovering some ground to trade at 63 rupees 82 paise per dollar in late morning trade.
