The rupee today lost 17 paise to trade ata fresh two-month low of 63.88 rupees in early trade. This follows strong dollardemand from importers amid weak local equities.It had closed at 63 rupees 71 paise yesterday.Forex dealers said besides sustained demand for the US currency from importers and a lower opening in the domestic equity market also put pressure on the rupee but dollar'sweakness against euro in the global markets capped the fall.
